Culinary Stars at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
Every year, the US Open brings together not only the best athletes in the world but also some of the most celebrated names in food. The 2025 lineup continued this tradition, with celebrity chefs and restaurant groups invited to showcase their cuisine for fans, press, and players alike.
This year was especially meaningful for GetRANKD Media: two of our signed accounts under Montclair Hospitality Group were featured on the global stage — Chef Robbie Felice’s PastaRAMEN and Chef Masaharu Morimoto (listed under “Aces”).

pastaRAMEN’s US Open Debut
According to the official US Open release: “James Beard-Nominated Rising Star Chef Robbie Felice’s pastaRAMEN makes US Open debut.”
Behind a discreet door on South Fullerton Ave, pastaRAMEN is redefining the ramen shop. This Montclair BYOB blends the craft of Japanese noodle culture with the richness of Italian flavor, known as Wafu Italian. Led by James Beard–nominated Chef Robbie Felice, the intimate, moody space offers a dining experience that’s inventive, confident, and always surprising.
At the Open, Felice presented fans with Temomi Shrimp Scampi Ramen — a bold dish with ponzu, garlic, and shrimp — showcasing the East-meets-West creativity that has made PastaRAMEN one of Montclair’s most talked-about restaurants.

Morimoto Recognized as an Ace
The US Open’s “Aces” program spotlights culinary icons with the same prestige as the athletes on the court. In 2025, Michelin-starred Chef Masaharu Morimoto was one of the featured Aces, alongside Chef Ed Brown and Chef Kwame Onwuachi.
Morimoto’s presence reinforced his status as one of the most influential culinary figures in the world, with dishes like sushi, sashimi, and oxtail crab rangoons anchoring the program. His role as an Ace put him at the forefront of the US Open’s elevated dining experiences.
Media Day Coverage: Behind the Scenes
On media day, GetRANKD Media joined national broadcasters, USTA staff, and other media teams to capture the excitement before the tournament gates opened. From chef interviews and plating sessions to dynamic behind-the-scenes footage, our team documented the intersection of food, sport, and culture.

Why This Matters for GetRANKD Media
The 2025 US Open represented more than just coverage. For us, it was a moment of pride: two of our clients, both under Montclair Hospitality Group, standing alongside global icons on one of the most visible stages in the world.
This debut proved that food is as much a part of the US Open story as the matches themselves — and GetRANKD Media was there to make sure the story reached far beyond the stadium walls.
